Nagasaki International University has pledged its support for the UN Sustainable Development Goals. From the upcoming school year, SDG’s will be included in each department’s curriculum. Furthermore, the university will commit to growing sustainably. This includes adding sources of renewable energy to the campus infrastructure and promoting SDG’s through the university’s status as a major local stakeholder. Special events such as graduation and the March 17 SDG’s Day will be commemorated with tree planting ceremonies help raise further awareness of NIU’s pledge to contribute to a sustainable future.
